Adapt IT names Tony Vincente as CEO

New leadership at Adapt IT and Omegro reinforces strategic alignment under the Volaris Group to fuel innovation and expansion.

South African technology services provider Adapt IT has announced the appointment of Tony Vincente as its new CEO, along with additional executive changes at its umbrella organization, Omegro. These moves are expected to drive further growth and integrate Adapt IT more closely with Omegro’s successful global operating model—a structure reinforced by the company’s integration into the Volaris Group in 2022.

Vincente, who has served as Adapt IT’s Chief Operating Officer since September 2021 and previously contributed as a group executive focusing on strategy and talent development, will now lead the company as CEO. A qualified chartered accountant with a Bachelor of Accounting Science Honours from the University of South Africa, he played a key role in the firm’s recent strategic advancements, driven by best practices and talent development initiatives supported by Constellation Software Inc.

Expressing his enthusiasm for the new role, Vincente stated, “We are excited about the opportunities ahead. Our people and our customers are at the core of everything we do. With a global network supporting our innovation and R&D—coupled with a renewed focus on strategic mergers and acquisitions—we are well-positioned to execute our strategy. In related leadership updates, Tiffany Dunsdon has been appointed as Omegro’s Acquiring Group Leader for the Middle East and Africa, reinforcing the group’s commitment to growth through strategic acquisitions. Additionally, Nombali Mbabo, formerly Adapt IT’s Chief Financial Officer, will take on the role of Group Finance Director for the Middle East and Africa at Omegro. “I am confident that Adapt IT will continue to thrive under its strong operating leadership team,” added Dunsdon.
