AgrigateOne names Avisca Venkanna as Chief Technology Officer

Seasoned technology leader to spearhead IT strategy and digital innovation at agricultural technology firm

AgrigateOne, an UK-based agricultural technology company founded in 2019 that specializes in digitizing and optimizing the global fresh produce supply chain, has revealed that Avisca Venkanna will take on the role of chief technology officer, overseeing the organization's technological roadmap, implementation of IT solutions, and efforts to advance digital innovation.

With nearly two decades of expertise spanning software development, enterprise-level systems, and tech leadership, Venkanna arrives with a robust background. Most recently, she held the position of software engineering manager at Healthbridge, where she guided multidisciplinary teams in delivering mission-critical platforms at scale.

Throughout her professional journey, Venkanna has occupied key leadership positions at organizations including Hollard Insurance and Adapt IT. In these roles, she focused on cultivating top-tier technical teams, executing sophisticated transformation projects, and ensuring technology investments delivered tangible business value.

Academically, Venkanna earned her Bachelor of Science degree in computer science from the University of KwaZulu-Natal. She has also recently obtained certification in financial management fundamentals through the University of Cape Town's executive education program.
