Bujeti launches mobile app to connect field operations with corporate finance management

Bujeti, a financial operations platform serving over 5,000 finance professionals across Nigeria and Kenya, has released a mobile application for iOS and Android that allows businesses to manage expenses, approvals, payments, and receipts directly from smartphones.
The app extends Bujeti's web platform, in operation since 2022, to address workflows that occur outside traditional office environments. Field representatives, procurement officers, logistics managers, and regional directors can now execute financial transactions on mobile and have them sync in real time with the company's web dashboard — keeping budget tracking, receipt attachment, and transaction categorization current without manual reconciliation.
The mobile version covers five functions: fund requests, payment approvals, money transfers, receipt capture, and transaction tracking. Features such as budget creation, approval workflow configuration, and detailed financial reporting remain available exclusively on the web platform.
The company secured $2 million in seed funding from Y Combinator and holds a partnership with Nigeria's Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency (SMEDAN). Its broader platform includes corporate card issuance with configurable spend limits, bulk vendor payments in multiple currencies, expense policy enforcement, tax management, and integrations with QuickBooks, Google Sheets, and Slack.
Existing users can access the mobile app with current credentials. New clients can request a demonstration at bujeti.com.
