Cascador, a platform focused on supporting African entrepreneurs, has opened applications for the 2026 edition of its ScaleUp programme, designed for founders leading companies that have already demonstrated market traction and are preparing for expansion.
The initiative operates at the intersection of leadership development and business strategy, providing selected startups with structured support to refine decision-making processes, strengthen operational models and prepare for scaling across more complex markets. Cascador works with founders across sectors, connecting them to investors, advisors and partners involved in the growth of technology-driven and impact-oriented businesses on the continent.
Since its launch, the platform has worked with dozens of companies that have collectively raised capital and expanded operations across multiple African markets. The ScaleUp programme serves as its core offering, focusing on companies transitioning from early growth to more structured expansion phases.
For the 2026 cohort, 12 founders will be selected to participate in a hybrid programme that includes one-on-one advisory sessions with investors and industry specialists, alongside peer learning and strategic guidance. Participants also gain access to Cascador’s Catalytic Fund, which allocates between $2 million and $5 million annually to support companies in their growth stage.
The programme runs over 12 weeks and concludes with a pitch session where founders present their businesses to a network of investors and ecosystem stakeholders.
“Entrepreneurs are the engines of change. At Cascador, our goal is to help accelerate growth-stage founders who we consider great multipliers, building businesses that transform lives, communities, and markets. This programme is designed to empower impactful ventures on the cusp of scale for social good,” said Trish Thomas, CEO of Cascador.
Applications are open until June 15, with the programme scheduled to begin on August 15.
