Cross Switch and Paysoft partner to transform payments for South African businesses

This collaboration merges Cross Switch’s global payment tech with Paysoft’s local reach to tackle downtime, fees, and inefficiencies head-on.

Cross Switch, a global payments technology company, has joined forces with South African fintech leader Paysoft to tackle the persistent challenges slowing down digital transactions for businesses across the region. Together, they aim to replace outdated infrastructure with smarter, more scalable solutions that address payment system downtime, delayed fund availability, and other legacy bottlenecks.  

This collaboration aligns with both companies’ mission to simplify and scale digital payments, empowering South African businesses to grow without financial friction. Paysoft, a trusted provider of bank-agnostic payment solutions since 2012, will integrate Cross Switch’s CS+ platform to process online transactions, including card payments, EFTs, and Apple Pay, with enhanced speed, reliability, and scalability. Simultaneously, Paysoft will streamline settlement fund processing for Cross Switch’s merchant partners, creating a stronger ecosystem for businesses and consumers.
