Gebeya and PROFF-IT integrate platforms to connect business planning and app development for African entrepreneurs

VukaOS ideation engine embedded into Dala Studio creates a single workflow from concept validation to no-code application build.

Gebeya, an Ethiopian technology company that operates Dala Studio, a no-code platform that allows users to build applications, games and AI agents using natural language, has announced a partnership with PROFF-IT, the South African technology group behind VukaOS, an AI-driven business ideation and planning tool. The agreement embeds VukaOS directly into the Dala Studio platform, creating a connected workflow that takes a founder from initial concept validation through to application development without switching between separate tools.

Under the integration, entrepreneurs use VukaOS to stress-test ideas and develop go-to-market plans before moving into Dala Studio to build the product itself. The two companies describe this as a plan-to-build workflow, intended to reduce the time and cost between having an idea and launching something functional. The partnership also includes joint commercial activities and shared strategic direction beyond the technical integration.

Amadou Daffe, CEO of Gebeya, pointed to the practical change the integration creates for founders working without large development budgets: "African entrepreneurs no longer have to jump between tools or hire expensive developers to test their ideas. Founders can move from concept to launch faster than ever before."
