Harvard africa business club opens applications for 2025 startup competition

The Africa Business Club at Harvard Business School has opened applications for the 2025 edition of its New Venture Competition, which will award up to US$55,000 in cash prizes to participating startups.
The competition will be held during the club’s annual Africa Business Conference, scheduled for March 27–28 in Boston. In addition to financial prizes, startups may gain exposure to investors, industry professionals, and conference attendees. The first 30 applicants will also receive consulting support from Harvard MBA students.
Eligible ventures must be Africa-focused, less than five years old, and have secured under US$1 million in funding to date. Applications are currently open.
