Kaspersky launches global eSIM service for travelers

Kaspersky eSIM Store is launched in partnership with award-winning provider BNESIM Limited, which has been delivering global eSIM services since 2017.

Kaspersky has introduced the Kaspersky eSIM Store, a new global connectivity solution designed for international travelers. Available in over 150 countries and regions, the platform offers access to more than 2,000 local data plans, helping users stay connected without the need for physical SIM cards.

The launch comes amid a sharp increase in the adoption of eSIM-compatible devices. According to GSMA, the number of these devices has grown tenfold in the last five years, and by 2028, eSIMs are expected to power half of all mobile connections worldwide. This growth reflects a shift toward more flexible and user-friendly mobile solutions.

With the Kaspersky eSIM Store, travelers can select and activate data plans directly from their mobile devices, avoiding roaming fees and unreliable public Wi-Fi. The service allows users to schedule activation ahead of their trips and manage their plans through an app or web interface. Real-time data usage tracking and alerts help prevent unexpected service disruptions.

The store offers various options tailored to different travel needs. Users can choose between country-specific, regional, or global plans, and select either fixed-duration or non-expiring packages. One eSIM profile can support multiple countries, reducing the need for multiple installations or local SIM card purchases.

Developed in partnership with global eSIM provider BNESIM, the Kaspersky eSIM Store aims to streamline mobile connectivity while maintaining user privacy and security. According to Mikhail Gerber, Executive Vice President of Consumer Business at Kaspersky, the solution addresses a key concern for travelers.

The service is now available at kasperskyesimstore.com and via the Kaspersky eSIM Store app on Google Play and the App Store. It complements Kaspersky’s broader portfolio of consumer cybersecurity products, including VPN Secure Connection and Kaspersky Premium.
