Partena Professional and Odoo to build a single platform for HR and payroll processing

The two Belgian companies plan to connect Odoo's management software with Partena Professional's payroll and HR services, starting with joint committees 200 and 302 before the end of 2026

Partena Professional, a Belgian HR and payroll services provider that supports more than 51,000 companies and 135,000 self-employed individuals through a workforce of around 2,400 employees, and Odoo, a Belgian open-source business management software company, have announced a partnership to develop what they describe as a fully integrated HR and payroll platform for the Belgian market.

The arrangement addresses a specific condition of that market. Belgium's payroll system operates through joint committees, sector-level bodies that set wage and labor conditions, which adds layers of regulatory complexity that generic HR software typically does not cover out of the box. Partena Professional has historically managed that compliance through its own services and tools, while Odoo has built a suite of business applications that includes HR and payroll modules. The partnership combines both, connecting Odoo's software infrastructure with Partena Professional's regulatory and operational knowledge so that data moves between applications without requiring manual transfers between separate systems.

The platform is expected to launch before the end of 2026, initially covering joint committees 200 (auxiliary committee for white-collar workers) and 302 (hotel and catering industry), which are among the most common in Belgium. Extension to other joint committees is planned for 2027.

Partena Professional noted that the collaboration with Odoo operates alongside its existing partner network, where the services and software of EasyPay Group remain part of its offering. Both companies are Belgian-founded, Partena Professional based in Brussels, Odoo headquartered in Ramillies, Wallonia, and have described the project as a locally developed answer to a problem shaped by local regulation.
