The African SAP User Group (AFSUG), in collaboration with SAP University Alliances in Sub-Saharan Africa, conducted three Student Career Days during September 2025. The events took place in Johannesburg, Cape Town, and Pretoria and brought together students, SAP partners, and professionals from the technology sector.
The program included workshops on CV development, LinkedIn use, interview techniques, and communication skills. Participants also attended keynote sessions and panel discussions featuring SAP practitioners and partners, who provided information on market trends and professional pathways in technology.
In addition, the events offered mentorship and networking opportunities, connecting students with SAP partners and customers for career guidance and potential job or internship exposure. Sessions also introduced students to SAP technologies and related career paths.
According to AFSUG and SAP University Alliances, these initiatives are part of a joint effort to connect students with the SAP ecosystem and expand professional opportunities across Africa. The organizations plan to continue career-oriented activities in 2026, with an emphasis on mentorship, university outreach, and follow-up support.
