Al-Futtaim and SNP complete S/4HANA conversion

The project involved the conversion of a 16-terabyte SAP ECC system to SAP S/4HANA, completed in August 2025 with 30.5 hours of technical downtime.

SNP SE, a software provider specializing in digital transformation, automated data migration, and data management in SAP environments, delivered an SAP S/4HANA transformation project for Al-Futtaim, a family-owned business group based in the Middle East. The project was carried out in collaboration with IBM Consulting, the system integrator for the initiative.

As part of its digital transformation strategy, Al-Futtaim Automotive worked with SNP and IBM to modernize its SAP environment. The project involved the conversion of a 16-terabyte SAP ECC system to SAP S/4HANA, covering a technical and operational scope relevant to the organization.

The migration was completed in August 2025, ahead of the initially planned schedule, with 30.5 hours of technical downtime during the process.
