CIO Africa by dx?, a platform that connects technology executives across the African continent through events, content, and community initiatives, has announced expanded operations in South Africa through strategic appointments and a local partnership designed to strengthen its regional market presence.

The organization has appointed Dominique Haynes as Sales Manager, where she will oversee sponsorships, partnerships, and advertising initiatives across the South African portfolio. Haynes will focus on connecting brands with the CIO community through flagship events, executive roundtables, content programs, research initiatives, and digital placements. Her responsibilities include driving account growth and delivering measurable results for partners across South, East, and West African markets.

Sandra Munangwa joins as Events & Community Manager, leading events and community development initiatives in South Africa. Munangwa will work to build connections among CIOs and IT executives while creating experiences that promote peer learning and professional collaboration within the technology leadership community.

To support these expanded operations, CIO Africa by dx? has established a strategic partnership with Hypenica, a South African media company specializing in event management and marketing services. This collaboration will provide local administrative and marketing support, enabling CIO Africa's team to concentrate on relationship building within the South African CIO community.

Harry Hare, Chairman of CIO Africa by dx?, emphasized the strategic importance of the South African market expansion. "By incorporating exceptional talent, we are enhancing our capacity to serve clients while creating meaningful connections across regions," Hare explained. "This expansion ensures South African CIOs can fully participate in and benefit from the broader pan-African technology leadership community."

Rudi Leitner, CEO of Hypenica, highlighted his company's experience in supporting the partnership. "With over two decades in events and media, Hypenica is positioned to support CIO Africa by dx? as their local partner," Leitner stated. "This collaboration strengthens on-ground capabilities through trusted expertise, execution excellence, and commitment to delivering impactful outcomes based on local content and insights."

The expansion reflects CIO Africa by dx?'s commitment to building stronger CIO networks by linking South African technology leaders to established communities in East and West Africa. The enhanced South African operations aim to facilitate connections between local CIOs and the broader pan-African technology ecosystem, supporting knowledge sharing and professional development across regional markets.

The strategic moves position CIO Africa by dx? to better serve South African IT leaders while strengthening its continental network of technology executives through localized expertise and enhanced community engagement capabilities.
