Innovate47, an international venture builder focused on supporting early-stage entrepreneurs, has unveiled its new Food & Agri Accelerator, a programme aimed at advancing solutions that address critical issues in agriculture, food security, and climate adaptation.
With operations spanning multiple regions and a growing network of startups across Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Nigeria, and Pakistan, Innovate47 has become a hub for innovation across the Global South. The new initiative will assemble a diverse group of founders from around the world, offering tailored mentorship, access to investors, and structured opportunities to scale globally.
“Food systems are among the first to feel the impact of climate change, and this challenge affects farmers, consumers, and entire communities,” said Umair Sheikh, founder of Innovate47. “Our goal is to back visionary entrepreneurs with scalable ideas and provide the resources they need to deliver real-world impact.”
The accelerator, delivered virtually over eight weeks, combines group workshops with direct access to expert mentors, industry leaders, and potential investors. It is designed to accommodate busy founders while equipping them with practical tools to strengthen their ventures.
Applications are currently open to entrepreneurs worldwide building startups in fields such as regenerative farming, agri-fintech, food supply chain innovation, climate-smart agriculture, and food security.
