Makhohliso took over as MD of SAP Southern Africa in 2023, succeeding Cathy Smith. With over 20 years of experience in the technology sector, she has held leadership roles across public and private sectors, having started her career as an auditor before moving into IT, consulting, and sales.
Her professional background includes positions at Accenture and Oracle, as well as serving as Vice President and Country Managing Director of Software AG, where she was also an executive board member.
Beyond her corporate career, Makhohliso is known for her commitment to education and youth skills development. She serves as chairperson of the Sparrow Trust, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing educational opportunities for disadvantaged South African youth.
SAP Southern Africa is expected to announce its leadership transition plan in due course.
