The latest technical enhancements to the Fusion Applications platform introduce a natural language builder and real-time ROI monitoring to transition from task-based assistants to outcome-driven agentic applications.

Oracle has expanded the technical capabilities of its AI Agent Studio for Fusion Applications, providing a centralized platform for the development and management of autonomous agents. The update centers on a new agentic applications builder that utilizes natural language to construct workflows without traditional coding requirements.

This environment allows organizations to connect enterprise data with reusable agents from Oracle or external partners, facilitating the execution of multi-step business processes that require reasoning and independent action across various systems.

A significant component of this release is the introduction of workflow orchestration and contextual memory. These features allow agents to maintain continuity across interactions and collaborate on complex tasks by retrieving only the relevant data signals needed for a specific objective. To support these operations, Oracle integrated content intelligence that converts unstructured data into actionable signals and multimodal capabilities that enable agents to process non-text inputs such as images and audio. According to Chris Leone, executive vice president of Applications Development at Oracle, "With AI Agent Studio for Fusion Applications, we are helping customers and partners build the formula for a more autonomous enterprise."

The platform now includes an analytical layer designed to measure the financial and operational impact of AI deployments. Through an ROI dashboard, businesses can track time savings, productivity gains, and cost reductions per agent. This focus on transparency is supported by a monitoring "playground" for real-time debugging and prompt adjustment. Kevin Sullivan, Oracle Global Alliance Leader at PwC, noted that "The expanded Oracle AI Agent Studio—including the new Agentic Applications Builder—creates a faster path to bring PwC’s Agent Powered Performance engine to life for our customers."

To assist with the implementation of these tools, Oracle highlighted a network of over 63,000 certified experts capable of identifying high-value use cases and managing governance. The studio remains available at no additional cost to existing Fusion Applications customers, utilizing the same underlying technology Oracle employs for its own internal agent development. As Mauro Schiavon, Deloitte Global Chief Commercial Officer, stated, "Oracle and Deloitte are working together to help organizations build and run agentic applications at scale," emphasizing the shift toward connecting data and workflows with established enterprise controls.
