Rank appoints Lucky Djebah to head wealth management arm

Former Anchoria executive to oversee expansion of investment and advisory services under Rank Capital.

Nigerian fintech company Rank has named Lucky Djebah as Executive Director, Investment, as it advances plans to expand into wealth management and investment banking through its subsidiary, Rank Capital.

The appointment, announced on 2 March 2026, takes effect immediately. Djebah will be responsible for leading Rank Capital’s growth in wealth management and investment banking, supervising equity and treasury portfolios and developing investment strategies for high-net-worth individuals and institutional clients.

Djebah has more than 15 years of experience in Nigeria’s financial services industry. He previously served as Managing Director at Anchoria Securities Limited and Mainstreet Bank Securities Limited, and as Head of Investment Banking at Alpha Morgan Capital Advisory Partners Limited. His professional background includes mergers and acquisitions, credit and securities markets.

Rank said the appointment forms part of its broader strategy to develop into a diversified financial institution focused on expanding access to wealth-building products across African markets.

The move follows a series of recent acquisitions by the company, including digital group savings platform AjoMoney and Zazzau Microfinance Bank. Rank said these transactions strengthened its regulatory and operational capacity, enabling it to broaden its offering from core banking services to investment and advisory products.

Djebah said he views the role as an opportunity to combine technology and advisory services in the delivery of wealth management solutions in Nigeria.
