The company reported a 300% year-over-year growth in its core business and introduced new connectivity tools for developers and partner human resources platforms.

Remote, a technology company that provides global payroll and employment infrastructure, announced an expansion of its platform access for partners, developers, and artificial intelligence systems. This technical update coincides with the disclosure of its recent financial metrics, with the company reporting over 300% year-over-year growth in its payroll division, surpassing $300 million in annual recurring revenue, and reaching a cash-flow positive status.

The company operates by establishing owned legal entities and regulated payment institutions across multiple countries. This architecture allows client businesses to hire, manage, and pay international workers without needing to set up local branches or navigate foreign labor compliance independently. While its infrastructure is utilized directly by corporate clients such as Anthropic, KFC, and Datadog, human resources software providers, including Workday, Personio, and BambooHR, also integrate Remote's back-end systems to process cross-border employment features within their own interfaces.

”We deeply value our partnership with Remote so our customers do not need to choose between an HR experience they love and the ability to hire and pay people anywhere," said Brian Crofts, Chief Product Officer at BambooHR. "Remote's global employment infrastructure is what makes that possible inside BambooHR, and opening it up to the broader ecosystem is a significant step forward for how businesses manage global teams."

To support the deployment of artificial intelligence in workforce management, the company introduced two new technical frameworks designed to integrate its systems into external software. The first framework, Remote MCP, establishes a direct connection for AI agents to access payroll, contract, and compliance data without requiring API keys, data exports, or custom integrations. The second, Remote Build, offers architectural and implementation support for enterprises developing specific workforce setups. These updates allow organizations to connect to the infrastructure through an existing HR suite, direct API integration, or the primary Remote dashboard.

"At our core, we have always been in the business of trust: making sure people get paid correctly, compliantly, and with dignity, wherever they are in the world," said Job van der Voort, co-founder and CEO of Remote. "That trust comes with getting the hard things right, consistently, at scale. That is exactly what we have spent years doing: building the infrastructure, the compliance depth, and the owned entities that make it possible to get this right, in every country, every time. Opening that up to the world is the next step, and we are just getting started."
