Salesforce has a new country head for South Africa

Salesforce promotes Linda Saunders, who will now serve as Country Manager for South Africa while maintaining her existing leadership role in solution engineering for Africa.

Salesforce has announced the promotion of Linda Saunders to Country Manager for South Africa. Saunders, who joined the cloud-based CRM giant in 2022 as Director of Solution Engineering for Africa, will now assume dual responsibilities. In her new role, she will oversee South African operations while continuing as Senior Director of Solution Engineering for Africa.

This appointment follows the departure of Zuko Mdwaba, who exited the company at the end of January to pursue other opportunities. Saunders’ extensive background, including her leadership at Barloworld Equipment—where she managed the enterprise project management office and drove key digital initiatives—positions her as a strategic asset for advancing Salesforce’s growth across the continent.

According to Salesforce, Saunders’ expertise will be instrumental in accelerating the company’s strategic operations and expansion throughout Africa. Her promotion underscores Salesforce’s commitment to strengthening its regional presence and enhancing its service delivery in the competitive South African market.
