South Africa’s Shiprazor develops unified tool to streamline e-commerce fulfillment

Shiprazor, a South African logistics software startup, is building a centralized fulfillment platform aimed at helping online retailers manage shipping and post-purchase operations through a single interface. The development was first covered by Disrupt Africa.
Created in May 2023 by founder and former VC professional Sahil Affriya, the platform integrates courier selection, store connections to Shopify and WooCommerce, delivery scheduling tools, returns workflows, and analytical features. According to Affriya’s remarks to Disrupt Africa, the idea emerged from observing e-commerce sellers handle multiple systems with limited visibility over deliveries.
Affriya said that many South African merchants still operate scattered courier accounts and rely on manual workarounds, which complicates order fulfillment. Shiprazor is designed to consolidate these processes, from checkout to final delivery, through a single dashboard.
The company operates in a market that includes players such as Bobgo, but Affriya noted that Shiprazor’s focus is on integrating fulfillment steps beyond courier aggregation.
Since launching, Shiprazor has secured investment from Launch Africa Ventures and founders linked to Peach Payments and Omnibiz. The startup reports partnerships with more than 16 courier companies and says it processes over 200,000 deliveries each month. It also provides access to 5,200 pickup and drop-off points and covers 35,000 postal codes nationwide, with more than 2,000 online sellers using the platform.
Shiprazor’s business model is based on earning a commission per shipment, in addition to optional services such as insurance and performance reporting. Affriya stated that the company has recorded steady growth in both revenue and merchant retention as adoption expands.
