Westcon-Comstor, a technology distributor focused on cybersecurity, networking and hybrid cloud solutions, has signed a distribution agreement with Infoblox covering Southern Africa. The partnership gives Westcon-Comstor's channel partners in the region access to Infoblox's unified networking and security platform, along with enablement resources, technical support and go-to-market guidance.
Infoblox develops software that manages and secures the foundational network services organisations rely on to operate across hybrid and multi-cloud environments, specifically DNS, DHCP and IP address management. These functions control how devices connect to networks and how traffic is routed, and are increasingly targeted in cyberattacks as organisations expand their cloud footprints. Infoblox's platform integrates these services with security automation, giving IT teams visibility and control across on-premises, hybrid and multi-cloud infrastructure from a single interface. The company counts more than 6,000 customers globally, including 92 of the Fortune 100.
The partnership comes as cloud adoption in Africa has moved beyond early migration phases. According to 2025 industry data, more than 86% of organisations in the region report medium or high cloud maturity, and more than 60% are actively strengthening cybersecurity and risk-mitigation measures to manage the complexity of hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
"Hybrid and multi-cloud environments have increased the operational and security demands placed on core network services," said Nickey Mannya, Director for Cybersecurity and Next Generation Solutions at Westcon-Comstor Southern Africa. "By bringing Infoblox into our Southern African portfolio, we are equipping our partners with a platform that strengthens network resilience while creating new opportunities for growth across security and cloud engagements."
Justin Olivier, Regional Manager for SADC at Infoblox, said the distribution agreement was intended to extend the company's reach in a market where demand for secure cloud infrastructure is growing. "Southern Africa is a strategic growth market where organisations are looking to modernise securely and at scale. Partnering with Westcon-Comstor gives us the reach, channel expertise and local market insight required to help partners deliver secure, automated and resilient network services to their customers," he said.
